Hey Everyone.
I hope everyone had a good Christmas!
We woke up and picked up my aunt (the one who calls when she knows i can't answer then leaves a guilt-trippy message). My Aunt is a huge Vikings fan so the first thing out of her mouth when she got into the car was "We won yesterday." I responded by popping in a CD of my friend's band Cheeseheads With Attitude and blasted this song...
The guy in the middle is my friend Jamie.
We ended up having the typical disfunctional family gathering involving Me, my hubby, my aunt, my mom and her hubby, my dad and his wife, my 2 brothers, 2 step brothers and 2 step sisters.Before dinner my 2 brothers and I went t the basement and played some music (they have a couple of guitars, a bass, and a drumset). I tried playing drums with minor success.
At one point there was a really tense moment of silence after my aunt yelled at my brother for saying "fuck," (and he was pissed because she didn't yell at me for saying it, or my hubby, or my dad), and my brother said "All this tension is making my privates hurt." It was hilarious.
So I don't think I posted an update, but my hubby is no longer suspended. They let him go. They also let go everyone in his department except for one person. So we filed for unemployment and he's been filling out applications like crazy.
I'm doing my best to keep my head up and stay optimistic, but it's hard. Things were tight before. We just have to make it till February. We'll get our tax refund and I'll have a paid internship at school and hopefully Alex (hubby) will have found another job. He applied at another store of which our ex-manager is their current manager so I'm hoping that will work out.

Excited for your multi set! Sorry about the husband's job. It is a tough spot to be in, I know. Best of luck to him with the search.
