I'm going to bike or walk to work everyday assuming the weather permits.
In other news I'm going to be taking over the Supervisor's role at work while he is on leave and vacation. He walked me through what to expect and everything and it seems like I'm not gonna have any problems at all. I'm stoked for that too. It's funny because there is this other person who works with us who has actually been there longer than I have and swore up and down that she would get his job when he quits and all that. I told her yesterday about me taking the reins while he is gone and she just kinda looked down and made a snide remark. Something like "Well if you want to have a crappy hourly rate and only 3 per cent commision, thats your choice." This coming from MIss My Last 2 Paychecks Have Only Been $400. I don't think she really understands how everything works.
In other news, I cut my hair on Sunday.
I HATED HATED HATED IT!!!
I dont know why it bothered me so much, but I thought the cut looked terrible. I went back and made them fix it. Now it's manageable, but I still want it to grow out. It does look really cute pulled back though.
I think maybe the reason I still dont like it much is because I had a similar haircut a few years ago and getting it cut the same makes me feel like I've taken a giant step back when i've worked so hard to change.
There has been crazy tornado weather in WI. Hubby and I ran around outside in the rain. Our street was way flooded!
