..so as most of you know i went to vegas this last weekend (friday/saturday) &&had the AMAZING opportunity to shoot with the beauiful @myca by the talented @cdo! this was honestly the best experience i have ever had! they were both such sweet, amazing people.
..quite honestly, meeting ms myca was very exciting. she had somehow found me on IG a few months back&&said she wanted to do a collab with me&&immediately i reached out to make plans to make it happen. within a month we had hotels&&flights booked! unfortunately, our set will not be available until i turn pink (SG rules). the second i landed in vegas, my anxiety spiked cause i was so nervous to meet her. now here's the fun part - my anxiety decreased a bit as soon as she stepped out of the car. as many of you probably heard from her periscopes, myca's photos make her look much lengthier than she is. but the second i saw her, i couldnt help but smile - she was a smidge shorter than me! as we drove around vegas trying to kill time, we made the dorkiest jokes&&soon enough, i felt so comfortable with her! we ran into some hectic moments that day before our multi, but we fed off each other's positive energy&&pulled through smoothly!
i've had horrible experiences working with male photographers in the past&&was fairly concerned about working with CDO. but as soon as i met him&&we got talking, i couldnt help but feel comfortable around him! he made it so easy to just be myself&&express what i'm ohkay with&&what I'm uncomfortable with. we did a solo shoot on saturday for my third set (you guys won't even be ready for it when it comes out!!!!)
this trip was, in short, FUCKING AMAZING. i was so heartbroken to come home. &&right now i can't wait until the next time i see these two beautiful people. thank you SG for building relationships like these!
