@rambo @missy @lyxzen wanted to know how i deal with haters....this is gonna have to start from when i was much younger.
when i was in high school, i wasn`t very well liked - i had a lot of guy friends; i lived in an abusive family; rumors about me being sexually abused by my dad&&that i sleep with all my guy friends started circling the school. i had never told my family about any of this, but instead, hid under my covers every night suffering from (what i know understand as) depression&&anxiety. when i was finally able to leave high school&&went to college, i started receiving anonymous emails/notes saying how i should just kill myself, how i was such a slut, etc. luckily, i was taking engineering classes, so i had to keep very busy&&never had much time to consider the negative comments. ..i went on to date one of my best guy friends from high school. unfortunately, he was still friends with all his high school buddies, and the bullying started all over again. ..that year on new years eve, a girl who i had NEVER even spoken a word to, but was dating my boyfriend-at-the-time`s friend&&heard all that he had to say about me, wrote on my facebook wall that "her new years resolution was to be nice to people, so since it wasn`t new years yet, she would like to call me a worthless, slutty, bitch who didn`t deserve anything in my life". ..to that, i replied, "well happy new years to you too". this progressed to one of my close friends standing up for me&&getting stabbed by the crazy girl who i had never spoken a word to.
..after that experience, i realize that throughout my life, i have endured a lot of negativity in my life. ..however, all this negativity has built me into a person who is now able to take the negative things people have to say to me now&¬ be negatively effected by them. ..depending on the situation, i have a different response.
so, i guess to answer the question for the blog homework - i deal with haters in a few ways: 1. use it as motivation to become better (prove them wrong); 2. ignore it; 3. reply with kindness (kill them with kindness) .
