i love my big station wagon. it has been completely reliable and never given me any problems, until now. the problems are super minor and have been adding up (and they are all things that i have caused or are normal). the windshield wiper motor went out (because someone turned them on when ice was packed on top of them), breaks need attention, the check engine light has been on for months, and i knocked off the driver's side mirror as i was reversing out of my aunts fenced yard. trying to merge onto a highway in inclimate weather... this is a desaster (or death) waiting to happen. today i am supposed to drive to my doctor's house to give his 3 kids piano lessons and there is a freak snow storm outside. i can't use my winshield wipers and i can't see anything in my driver's side mirror, and i can't stop that well, especially in snow. i guess now i need to take her in and get a rental for the rest of the week. damnit.
