Waiting for a friend to come by. He's actually the son of the late main character in my documentary Enemy Alien. He also is in the documentary, we share some hair-raising encounters with counterterrorism agents in the story. He's had a tough few years, his dad imprisoned for two years by Homeland Security, then his dad dies three months after being released.
He has some mental health issues, has been diagnosed as schizophrenic. What that translates into in reality is that he has a tough time holding down a job, staying put in a an apartment, etc. He's intelligent and likable but the way he is brings up my own issues of getting impatient, getting annoyed with his conversational tangents or impracticality, etc.
I want to get a few other things done today, like this fuckin' shelf I started stripping before it got cold and rainy. And the video from my last vacation and ancestral quest (see previous posts).
