After not being sick for five years, I have battled this %&*$# head cold for the last four days. WAH! This sucks. Nothing is better than talking on the radio when you can't breathe through your nose. I sound just lovely. LOL! This is apparently something that is going around...just about everyone one at work has contracted some version of this crap too. Oh well!
It was already a tough wek before I started feeling crappy...my friend John, who I have known for 30 years...his Mom passed away on Wednesday. The funeral was yesterday morning. Very sad. His mom had been battling cancer for almost six years and finally succumbed to it. His Mom was always very cool to me and I will definitely miss her.
Well...I've got to talk on the radio right now...Black Crowes on now...new Lenny Kravitz in 15 minutes. Hope evryone is having a safe and happy weekend. Stay warm too. It's 23 degrees here in DC, with the wind chills occasionally in the single digits, BRRRRRRR!! Seeya!
