Had a very strange dream right before I woke up this morning (I'm sure a combination of oversleeping, sleeping on my back, and it nearly being "that time of the month"). Something to do with Persephone and/or Inanna going down into the underworld, me chanting some weird little Lovecraftian chant, psychedelic visuals, then suddenly it being all over and some guy saying, "well, now that the wedding rehearsal is over.." Rehearsal??!! Whadda ya mean, rehearsal? That wasn't real?? Um, what wedding? Oh well.... 
Marvin has used the cat door by himself to go out about 3 times now, but he won't go back in. Will have to work on that.
Oh, I almost forgot! Yesterday morning we had breakfast at Waddle's. It looks like it's going to be closing in about a year, to make way for another fucking Krispy Kreme.
It's been around since the late 40's, if I'm not mistaken; they still have the original big old sign with the clock and the Waddle's duck that you can see from the freeway. We're really not too happy about them having to close, so we're going to go there as much as we can. If you're in Portland, or plan to visit, I encourage you to do the same.

Heh. I dunno, I heard Krispy Kream is good stuff, although I wouldn't know from experience. Thanks for the input. What I do with the Tarot these days is usually sort of have a conversation with the deck as I go along. Or ask it to tell me a story of sorts. I don't use codified layouts much anymore, as I found them to be to troublesome. They kind of interfered with my gift.
