Aw, it's been a good day today; I got a journal comment from my favorite SG Voltaire!! Everyone here that I've talked with so far has been so sweet. I'm sure the bubble will burst eventually and somebody will be a total snot to me, but til that day comes, ignorance is bliss. Am I not allowed any illusions?? C'mon, just a couple. Pleeeeease??

When I got back from the post office this afternoon there was a funny message on the answering machine. Sounded like an extremely lame attempt at an obscene phone call. Dude, if you want to insult somebody, the first thing you want to do is make sure you use words that that person can understand. Couldn't understand a word, big guy; I do think I heard "bitch" in there somewhere. Why, thank you! I can indeed be a world-class bitch when the occasion calls for it - say, for instance, the next time you call? Get a life and stay out of mine!

Byron got his passport in the mail today. Did I mention we're going to the Netherlands at the end of May? Yep, we are! First over-the-pond trip for both of us. A friend of his is getting married in a little town outside of Amsterdam. Should be fun. I've already been told that when in Amsterdam we have to check out the Sex Museum. Has anyone who might read these words been there? I did a little internet search; sounds way, way out there. This same gal told me that she and her now-husband became engaged on a trip through Europe, and there was a lot of sex going on. After they'd been in Amsterdam only a couple of days, however, her fiance was like, "Don't touch me, OK? I can't take anymore!!" The entire atmosphere of the city is so drenched in sex that they both ended up suffering from sex burnout/overload. Yarg.
