Sorry I didn't write yesterday; I ended up doing a lot of work on my website and scanning in some more album covers to put up. Maintaining a website is hard work - another "no duh"!
Had a great visit with Julia the other day. We chose some music that she liked and talked about tattoos, Goddesses and other stuff. She has offered to give me some dance lessons as payment for burning her a CD! What a gal... The bad part is, we're going to be gone when she does her routine at the Sapphire Hotel on Sept. 13!!! I'm sure I'll get another chance to see her, but still. Nuts.
I'm glad I didn't go to the Bush protest yesterday. There was a pepper-spray incident, and 10 people were arrested. I'm getting really disillusioned with the whole march-and-protest paradigm. It doesn't really change anyone's mind, and the media always manages to portray the protestors as immature loud-mouths. I do agree that making your feelings known is important, but I think from now on I'm going to protest with my vote.
Tomorrow's the Twilight Rummage Sale! Yeah!!!
