Instead of exercising like I'd planned an hour ago, I got sidetracked taking pics of stuff I've found in thrifts and posting them to the Thrift Shoppers group.... Yes, I am easily distracted.

The weather's been far, far more tolerable the past couple days, praise the Goddess. Byron's boss suggested we think about getting a heat pump. I think it sounds like a good idea. Supposedly keeps the house cool in summer, warm in winter. I can get behind that.

Bathtub's still clogged. mad

Hard to believe the summer quarter starts in less than 2 weeks. I'm attending Portland Comm. College to get my transfer degree, then hopefully on to Portland State and a Women's Studies degree. Yep, I's a feminist and not afraid to so state. biggrin

I leave you with your Wilde quote for the day, as I finally don my exercise togs and get cracking:

We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars.

Yeah, just so. I came away with alot of respect for people who have mullets. I've even been thinking about all the people I've known who had mullets, and rethinking some of their decisions in life that were mullet-based. (ie: "Cut the mullet?! No way, I'll just find a new job.)

I think about going back to school, but having spent eight years in two colleges, I've reached the conclusion that having degrees is nice, but everything I want to learn from here on I can learn under my own steam. Although I always did see myself getting a Masters or maybe even a Doctoral. Who knows. I hope PCC is a good time for you.

That picture of your mother that you posted is great.

I love older photos.
