What a crazy month it's been. First, I utterly failed to write my NaNoWriMo novel this year. I was unprepared and I didn't even get beyond writing the title. Mainly because the job I work in the civilian side got crazy busy. The Kindle Fire got released and the calls were intense, plus I was training to go back to AmazonWireless before the Penny Sale destroyed the queues. But that wasn't all, I got promoted to Customer Service Lead for retail dot-com, and I had a crash course in getting ready for Black Friday and CyberMonday. I would complain, but I liked it--moving forward in this company has taken some time, but it's worth the investment of time.

On the military side of things, I'm finally getting out. Too much change and hassle to stay there, even though I'll miss my brothers in the company, it feels good to be so close to being a long-haired hippy again. (I haven't had long hair in about 10 years, can't wait!)

I setting up my plans for my next birthday, this time for sure, including a visit to France (even if I have to scrimp together funds over the next 10 months). I might not go to Burning Man in '12 as I thought earlier, it might be '13 when I go since I want to be sure to get to France. I have my Fluenz French dvds and a plan to go, I'm sure it'll be worth the wait (since I've been wanting to go for more than 12 years).
