What a hell of a week: started training last Tuesday for the new job and then had to get a tooth extracted Thursday morning before I left for drill weekend... Ick, Four and a half hours driving to B'ham with little sleep and on pain meds, it was fun.
Saw a dear friend on Friday, and just like every time I do, I wish I could live closer to her. It's nice being accepted "as is" from time to time.
Since last Wednesday, a different girl at work has been texting me; apparently she's wanted to for a while, but forgot my name. Went to coffee after I got home on Sunday with her and her son; it was fun running after the little tyke until he learned how to open the door. It wasn't bad, but I have no clue as to what's next--sometimes I think that may be the point.
New schedule starts later in the day but my body is still on the old scheduled wake up times, grr... Wells-oh, I'm sure once my kids get here for the summer, I'm sure I'll make use of getting up this early.
