I think I'm going to take a break from webforums in general. More frustration than they're worth, text does not always convey intended meaning, and people tend to be asshats, especially when they're surrounded by likeminded people who will cheer on their asshatted behaviour. I spend too much time on web forums anyways.
There goes my AIM connection again. I look forward to switching from cable internet to DSL in a little under two months when I move into my new apartment. I've heard all the arguments, but in my personal experience, despite the higher maximum throughput offered by cable, DSL tends to be faster and much more stable, since you're not sharing the pipe, and Charter isn't running the show.
