Not much going on right now. Currently I'm staying up way to late, possibly throwing off my sleep schedule again right after fixing it, but I only have a four hour shift at work tonight, and then the weekend, so I'm not overly worried.
I've been doodling away, doing up a poorly drawn, storyboard style comic book which I plan to rewrite and redraw into something that will hopefully be worth showing off. After a couple weeks, I've pumped out 30 pages, though it'll probably be another hundred or so before I get my barings and figure out how I want to write this.
Soon I'll start in on some model sheets of the characters, and with all the drawing I've been doing it probably won't be long before I'm pumping out a few finished pictures a month again. Here's hoping at least. This rut I've been in has gone on far too long.
My current job, while still far from unbearable, is slowly becoming more and more uncomfortable, so hopefully I'll also manage to pump out some graphic design work to show off, along with my illustrations, and see if I can land an art related job. I have an art related degree, might as well try to land another art related job with it.
Hmm, this weekend could be interesting. The idea of a LAN party came up. I can think of a few people I'd invite. Halo and Jedi Academy sound good?
Next weekend there's a local SG party. Hopefully I'll manage to get to that as well. If I do, should I bring the bottle of Avalanche to that, or save it for the Halloween party at Dave's, or maybe even Christmas or New Year's? Hmm.
Roommate situation is a bit out of sorts, lately. One of my roommates is planning to move out, so that means we'd have to get another roommate in there to keep the rent down. Hopefully that'll work out well.
Hmm, a night chilling at Denny's sounds like a good idea, too.
I find myself looking at my profile and wondering how old is 'Old Skool'? My earliest journal entry seems to be from December of 2002, but I thought I'd joined much earlier in 2002. I know I had the account for a while before I started posting journal entries. Ah well, anyways, for now, sleep.
