Okay! Exciting news!

Apparently my roommate and I might be getting a puppy from a shelter.

She's a lab mix...black and golden retriever mix. But she's black (and proud?) with little white markings.

Puppy. Seriously, we're going to be such picture whores.

Well hello....hello....hello!!! Hell yeahya.... Puppies are the coolest!!! I just recently moved into my house (finally) and you know what, frankly, I sure could use some happy little thing running around pooping all over the place with absolute totally shameless abandon, and then acting happier than a newborn on a nipple to see me when I come home from work everyday. hmmmmmmm... smile smile smile Sounds like a plan.

Went to the Rogue last night. It was nice to meet mothra, Thrasher, and annamei for the first time. Not to mention the illustrious George. And of course it was nice to see you too, TrevorOlsen.

Unfortunately, I couldn't stay very long - I wasn't feeling 100 percent. Which sucks because yesterday was supposed to be a vacation day and really wasn't....

Ha ha. I won a karaoke contest tonight.

I sang "Feelin' Love" by Paula Cole (off the City of Angels soundtrack), and I won two tickets to the August 6th concert with Clay Walker and Chris LeDoux - party bus, drink-all-you-want, etc. in scenic Camp Verde.

It's sheer irony, really. But I had an awesome time tonight.

Last night at Sozzle was interesting. I ended up running out to my car in the rain, and had fun dodging lane lines and puddles on the way home. All in all, it was an eventful evening (for that and other reasons).

i grew up in tucson too, from age 5-16. lived in midvale and went to pueblo high school. i didn't realize eegees was just in tucson till i moved, i can't tell you how bummed i was smile
