I guess it's better to be safe than sorry, but i fucked up hardcore today
After my normal tuesday classes + two downright hellish hours in the school's computer lab, i trudge wearily to the parking lot, only to discover that my piece of shit car is refusing to start. i have been thru this shit before, so i assume the worst, that it is something serious. so i pay to tow it to my mechanic. he surmised that it was the starter....just found out, it was merely a DEAD BATTERY
yeah, i'm relieved, but that was so foolish of me. The engine was just making a clicking noise when i trried to start the car but my radio,lights, etc. were working... so i discounted the battery as the source of the problem.
To put my own shit into perspective, i was talking to a mechanic there whose car caught on fire on the freeway!
he saw flames in the rearview, stopped and tried to throw his wetsuit on the fire to put it out. alas it was toasted.
so yeah...
aside from that, all else is good. i'm pretty content lately. My brother visited for Thanksgiving and told me some hilarious stories; i hate when he visits though 'cause i don't want him to leave
But yeah my holiday was terrific, i worked from four in the mornin' til' noon, creaming pies and helping box up turkey and fixins. i ate about a pound of whipped cream mmm 
after that, i had two thanksgiving dinners that day; it was gluttonous!
Lastly i finished all 6 of my college transfer applications a couple days ago...finally. what a relief!
now i jus hafta wait patiently til' March to find out who will take me (hopefully somebody
