My new year's was uneventful. turned down some lame parties. instead, had a bottle of good champagne at home (delicious--i'm used to the cheapo kind!). thought about last new year's and cried. woke up to a lovely nightmare this morning.

on a lighter note:
today, i finally saw "Brokeback Mountain"...tried seeing it in Hollywood a couple weeks back but it was sold out. but yeah, it was well worth the wait! Some people left during the movie, making disgusting remarks. i kid you not, a man in a wheelchair loudly muttered "Faggots," as he was wheeled out of the theater. Funny but sad. Why would these kinda people go to see this movie in the first place?!? What did they expect?
Anyways, 'twas a gorgeous movie...this coming from a film snob, who is rather hard to please in THAT department
