Corrie surprised me by flying in from Mass today!!!!! she was supposed to come in on saturday, but i guess she got extra time off of work and devised a plan with my friend/producer chad. he picked her up at the airport at like 10am and called me. during the call he passed the phone to her and i was totally speechless (which, for me, is saying something!!) so she is now in town and things are pretty cool...

Back to the journal************
so, as usual we've had a band drop off the bill just before the show. my first year at the station dave williams died 3 weeks before our show, so drowning pool dropped off. last year the guitarist from hoobastank almost killed himself in some kind of scooter accident, so they dropped. now, just 5 days before this years show, soil dropped off. luckily there was no death or bodily damage incurred, they were dropped by their label and just decided to go back on their FUCKING CONTRACT with us
(sorry for the venom, but it is really frustrating. they were one of the few bands that i actually was going to try to check out..) so now we are scrambling for another band to fill their hole, and i am sure it will be some shitty band... ugh!
so, that is about all that is up with me. i have to give the bike up on sunday, so i am riding it like its my job! (oh wait, it kind of is....
) i hope that all is well with you guys.. after the show is over i will be back to my usual self-i promise!!!
