ahh, good times with the needle and ink... we did not do nearly enough of what we wanted, but the needle still hit the skin enough to remind me why i love tattoos.... just a bit under the armpit to feel that sting that brings out every sense of life...

nietzsche writes that all things come from the same place.. good, evil, pleasure, pain, it all stems from the same seeds. nothing can illustrate this better than getting tattooed... the sting, the tingles of instantly lost (and regained) pain, the beauty that lies at the end of the travails... it is a wonder... it is the essence of humanity... it is in these moments that we realize that we are alive and why it is a blessing to be aware of all of the pains and joys of being human....

of all the addictive things that i have done in my lifetime, nothing beats the rush, the high of even the smallest of tattoos.........
