just a quick journal entry... 
so, only 3 shifts left to work. my birthday is tomorrow. Chi's birthday is today, and we've been celebrating quite a lot.
thanks to everyone who commented about my work issues; funny how much it helped to let it out in public like that.
right now, chi is talking to his family... they're talking politics at the moment, they all called to wish him a happy birthday. we already exchanged gifts, something we would normally reserve for midnight. i got hime the matrix reloaded soundtrack, he got me a brass/wood/glass kaleidoscope. (oooooooooooooooh, sparkly!) and tonight, we're making steaks. i love having our birthdays so close together.
i forgot to mention before that i've bought my dress for the SG Prom in SF, and shoes as well. it's a slinky lil satin number in black. i've even bought earrings of silver and mother of pearl. i'm really excited to go... it's the reason i set my quit date the way i did. i leave town the night of my last day at work. lucky me, tho, my big brother is living in SF and offered to put us up for the weekend. i guess this also gives us an opprtunity to watch matrix reloaded with my two favorite guys on the planet.::grins:: all in all, i'm in a very positive space today.
