::sigh:: new journal time...

there's this thing about me that's been bugging me all year. i only have male friends. i mean, i have some female acquaintances, but nobody i'm close to or that i really feel cares about me very much. i think i've been a "man's woman" for so long now, that i just don't know HOW to make solid friendships with women that aren't all based on me teaching them something, or giving them advice 'cuz i have a BA in psych, and they somehow think that means i can fix their problems. my male friends love me for who i am, they see my foibles, and they are dear to my heart... but ever since i got married, they just won't let me discuss certain subjects. and i find myself lonely for the company of women. not in a sexual manner, bi tho i am, but just for the purposes of discussing the meaningful parts of life and getting a perspective i'm not used to.

i'm really laying my heart open here... kind of risky, i guess. but i don't know anywhere else that it's going to be seen.

Hi back. life is good, i'm gainfully employed again which is always nice. I need to adjust my schedule to reflect that fact though. To much playing, not enough getting boring non-work stuff done. And you?

Given time, I'm sure some females will drift into your life. Is there some sort of intimidation factor that you think might go into not being able to have a solid friendship with a gal? I always seem to think of myself as on a lower level when presented with somebody who has a.)completed college or b.)knows more bigger words than I do... does that make sense? I'm babbling. I'm not even sure what I'm trying to get at.......

.....but I like those cigar pictures. smile I have a picture of a friend lighting his cigar with a dollar bill. Mmmm good times.
