That aside, it's been an all right day! I hung out with my long-time pal, Tracy. She's been feeling down lately because of legal matters and so I filled her up with sweets and soul food today. Finally checked out Brenda's and it wasn't bad at all. Chocolate, apple and crawfish beignets, sweet potato pancakes with pecan syrup, watermelon sweet tea ...and a cup of gumbo? 
Hey. We were hungry. That was followed by a viewing of Alice in 3-D and I reeeeally wish I smoked weed. 'cause they shit would have been AMAZING.
The effects were fantastic, the angle that they approched the movie kept it fairly fresh and Burton's direction wasn't too Burtony (which is bad or good depending on your view). However, Depp was pretty annoying. Anne Hathaway was eh. Yet the Cheshire Cat was the tits.
In the end though, all I could think of was finally seeing motherfucking TRON in three dimensions!
