Life's been a relative whirlwind lately. During the weekend I was at the Gram's and dropped Zeus off there so he can keep the old lady company. What a wonderful scamp he is! Thanks to her, the dog has gotten friggin' fat as fuck.
He hides his weight well. Just like his owner.
Anywho, Evangeline suddenly decided to visit San Francisco for the first time on Monday. I did what I could to make sure she saw some of the more famous landmarks and whatnot. But damned if she wouldn't eat! All she wanted was her Diet Coke with "Lime". It certainly didn't help her remember where we were heading...

So after meeting up just outside of Union Square we zig-zagged across The City, checking out Lombard, Fillmore, Chinatown, pee break, Fisherman's Wharf and one-third of Pier 39, pee break in the woods, Coit(us) Tower and the TAI CHI LADY. Oh man. Eva and that woman had a pretty "intense" conversation about ...everything. I can't recall much because I was simply blown away. haha Iraq and Israel and Palestine and lung cancer and smoking and yin and yang and documentaries. I felt like I should have been high while witnessing that mega-rant.
After that mindbomb, I finally succumbed and had a couple drinks before heading to Lucky 13 to chill. Well... I was the chill one. Eva was more like this:
LOL I kid I kid. She was still very cognizant. No wayward tongues or half-asleep eyelids were present! All and all, it was a fun first meet. Did I mention the cigar? Yeah, there was a cigar involved that night too. It did NOT smell like chocolate at all. Furthermore, my ride still smells like not-chocolate.

Lea loves funny signs. Lea also loves Leonardo DiCaprio. When I saw this photo, I thought "Holy shitballs, that's the name of that one Leo movie!" so I snapped it, feeling accomplished. I mean, c'mon... it's a one-handed shot I took while driving around 55mph. SKILLS. 
A couple seconds later, I recalled there were TWO movies with very similar titles that were released months apart: Reservation Road starring Joaquin Phoenix and Mark Ruffalo and REVOLUTIONARY ROAD starring Leo and Kate Winslet. So yeah, I suck. But she loves the effort, rrrrrriiiiiight?
