First was my Secret Santa's package! Seeing as I'm a very difficult man to shop for (because I'm extremely vague and usually don't desire anything), the Santa did a good job. I received a big friggin' bag of Starburst jellybeans, some poker cards, a mix CD and this book that's so far, high quality...



Oh yeah... a custom Rex! pin featuring my name with a Neapolitan ice cream bar.



Why a Neapolitan ice cream bar, you ask? Long, lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng story. NO PUN INTENDED. Honest.

Present numero dos, from my good friend Crystal. She works for a small company you may have heard of... a real up-and-coming candy venture called Theo Chocolates. Like last year, she provided me a sample of her latest creations!

a few flavors: bread & chocolate, peanut butter & jelly, coconut curry, burnt sugar, mint & orange-thyme


marshmallow Big Daddy squares. they also have caramel in them. my teeth nearly dissolved from the sweetness.

From the look of those photos I really need to dust off my piano. Or uh, play it every once and a while.

All of it organic and all of it fresh off the line. Very unique flavors too, involving Earl Grey tea, sea salt and jalapeno, to name a few. I tell ya, it all tastes very, very good! She made my package for me in advance, because she said demand has been at its highest and nearly everything seasonal has sold out. I highly recommend sampling their chocolates if you can.
