I'm happy! I'm going back home to Chicago for a week!! I'm even getting paid while I'm there!!! I get to design, build, and install a music and movie server for a home theater system. This should only take me a few days, then the rest of the time spent in Chicago will be vacation.
I really need this vacation and I miss Chicago a lot. I haven't been home in over 5 years. I'll be staying with an ex-gf who I've stayed in touch with over the years, she's awesome and she lives in my old building, which is even better! Well, anyway... I'm excited about it!
Last night after work, I found out there was a free texas holdem tournament at some bar on south street, so I checked it out. I ended up finishing 5th, which is pretty fucking good considering I haven't played in a tournament since I used to live in Chicago. It was fun and it certainly beat sitting in front of the computer all night again.
Well, time for me to get back to work.. *rolls eyes* Tuesday needs to be over!
