I've been smoking way too many cigarettes and drinking way too much coffee over the last few days.. This is due to the insane amount of stress I'm under. I've finaly decided to stop doing custom high end home theater systems as a result of this last couple months of absolute fucking nightmares! A friend of mine who is also a professional geek and owns his own business was explaining to me what an easy life I could have if I just ran HPC like a boring business. Stop doing everything except IT work he said! I really didn't like the sound of that because everything I love about work has to do with custom home theater and multi-room audio.. He said that if I just got 4 billable hours a day at $100/Hr. 5 days a week, I could make 50k after taxes and expenses.. I never looked at it like that before....

I have been driving myself fucking nuts doing custom work that never seems to end, while not even being able to bill for all the time that goes into it!

Back when I just did computers & networking, I always had plenty of work, it was easy (a bit boring though) and the clients always paid on time. WTF am I doing to myself here??!?!?!?!?!?!

So over the last couple days, I have killed and burried my old website, created a new one for IT Solutions ONLY, and spent hours getting set up to process all major credit cards for payment. I even set up a nifty little tech support forum on my website.

So here's the hard part... I have to wait a while for my site to be re-spidered by all the search engines before I can expect a decent flow of traffic from people looking for IT Solutions... I hate waiting... patience is not one of my strong points...

I really don't know what to do with myself right now... I'm in stand by mode, sitting here waiting around for people to pay me...
