No trip to Chicago for me, so I'm going to spend the rest of the week in Manhattan instead. Now the fun part.. getting my shit together so I can leave at a reasonable hour and make it there by 10PM tonight.. It's just been one of those mornings where I don't want to leave the house, I've got a fresh pot of coffee, good music, waffles, and a ton of email to read. I'm doing pretty well considering I've only had 3 hours of sleep.. (Long story) I had one of those wonderful conversations with my ex that lasted much longer than it should have.. I don't know why I bother talking to her sometimes..
So I've now watched The Life Aquatic something like 4 or 5 times, what a great fucking movie! Bill Murray rocks. I met him years ago when they were filming Groundhog Day in Woodstock IL, which is about an hour or so outside of Chicago. Anyway.. Life Aquatic had a great soundtrack, which is probably why I've been listening to Ziggy Stardust for the last few hours.. I forgot how much I liked that album.
I guess I better get off the damn computer and start packing.. I can't wait to get the hell out of Plymouth Meeting for the rest of the week.
