I decided to do something different and take the entire weekend off, I'm really glad I did because I was begining to seriously neglect my social life.. Friday night I went to see Star Wars Episode III, which was surprisingly good considering what others had told me about it. It was cool to see Anakin's transformation into Darth Vader and see Yoda's confrontation with the emperor. Saturday night I hung out with friends and went out for Thai food. Last night there was a party at a friends house and I ran into a few people I hadn't seen in over a year. I had a lot of fun hanging out with the old crew and being encouraged to move back to the city. I also got to meet a few new friends who I'm sure will make perfect additions to our happy little disfunctional family.
After a weekend like this, I hate to go back to work.. It's been a pretty easy day so far though, just a nuke and reinstall on a laptop so far. I may end up going downtown later after all.
I found out that I'll be going back to Chicago for a couple days next week for a small home theater installation, so that should be fun. I can't wait to get there, it's been a long time since I've seen any of my friends from Chicago. The only crappy part of it is that I have to be up at O dark thirty AM on Tuesday to catch the plane. I am NOT a morning person.. Oh well..
