I didn't get to sleep till noon! Damn phone was ringing like crazy this morning. It's looking like I have to go to work today... well, sorta.. I have a client who wants to hire me as a consultant for her new Ecommerce site and she insists that we meet today. I'm nowhere near ready enough for this, especially considering I'm on my first cup of coffee and haven't even looked at the project details yet. I hate web business consulting, I'd rather play with gadgets all day.
Speaking of gadgets.. I bought a new cell phone yesterday at it totaly rocks! It's one of the new motorolas with camera, high speed net access, instant messaging, etc. I even got a cheaper rate plan than I had with AT&T! My old phone was the free LG that they were giving away 6 months ago, and believe me... now I know why it was free! Fucking thing breaks every time it gets dropped!
Another new gadget that everybody needs to check out is this Digital Video Camera for less than $300! I ordered a bunch of them yesterday because they're better than the Sony equivalent at $800! This thing rocks, you can't even buy a good digital camera for $300 and this thing does video too! I need to buy like 2 dozen of them and sell them to clients.
On a sad note.. I read last night that a SG's member was killed in action over in Iraq.. This war has really got me down.. I've lost 2 cousins and a friend from high school to it already, when is it gonna end?!?! I still have a couple good friends over there and I don't even know what to say to their families when I talk to them.. I may not believe we have a reason to be there, but I still support our troops.. They are over there in harms way so that the rest of us don't have to be, so do what you can for them and their families. In the meantime, we've all just gotta keep on keepin on and hope that they'll send our troops home soon..
