What a loooong day!!! Nice to be back in NYC, but today was a big ol pain in the ass! Waited for 2 hours at a client's house due to unacceptable working condidtions... The place was still a construction zone, saw dust and sheetrock dust everywhere! Couldn't install any equipment with all the dust around. Ok... I'm done bitching, cuz today was cool aside from all that...
I got to talk to my friend Dania who just came back from europe, I really missed her. She's one of the coolest people I've ever met.
I'm finaly done with all that x-mas shopping!!!!! I saw the coolest thing today, it's an Atari set with a bunch of old games built in!!! They were just so cool I had to buy one for everyone I know! I also got to spend all those rebate checks from all the routers and wifi cards I bought this year! I got myself a 40GB Ipod and some JBL Creature speakers! The scary thing is that I actually have more than 40 gigs of music..
Ok, so I keep saying I'm gonna go to bed before 3AM so I can show up for work on time, but that's just not gonna happen... I have to stay up and put music on my new Ipod!!! Maybe if I'm really good, Santa will bring me that 17" power book I've been wanting to go with my new Ipod.... Even though all my clients use Microsloth Bloatware, I just have to have a powerbook!!
I've decided to avoid the whole family holiday disaster and stay home and cook for my friends all day. I did this a few years back and it was a lot of fun, even with my tiny dissfunctional kitchen.. Now that I have a house and a real kitchen, it should be great. I think my little brother may even catch a greyhound to come visit me, since he's not too crazy about the family thing. Haven't seen him in almost 4 years, so that will be cool.
I have this strange urge to bake white chocolate chip & macadamia nut cookies.... not exactly x-mas cookies, but they're so fucking good!
I need to pull myself away from SG for a while and send out invoices or I'm gonna be broke by new years and that would really suck! Hope everyone has an awesome holiday.
