Sorry I've been gone for a while!! I've been busy doing high pressure experiments using a diamond anvil cell on hollow nanospheres! I broke my first diamond during a very intense work week! I took a 500 micron culet (hugely expensive diamond) up to 20 GPa. It didn't shatter until I went down in pressure. I think we've discovered something unusual but I won't fully know until I finish the data analysis on the 2.9 gigabytes of data we collected!
