I'm leaving this site. I haven't been here long or accomplished much, so I highly doubt I will be missed.
I shall be seeking out a different site that is more supportive of a person's right to express themselves artistically and sexually.
As everyone is now aware of, Nana's set was removed and she is now archived.
I am not angry, but I am disappointed. And as an artist, I am a tad insulted.
I have an elaborate argument to support my decision, but I'd rather not waste my breath. When I attempted to explain my opinions in the forums there was an overwhelming lack of understanding.... so I will simply let others who are wiser speak for me:
The populist authoritarianism that is the downside of political correctness means that anyone, sometimes it seems like everyone, can proclaim their grief and have it acknowledged. The victim culture, every sufferer grasping for their own Holocaust, ensures that anyone who feels offended can call for moderation, for dilution, and in the end, as is all too often the case, for censorship.
