i took a train ride before 6am sunday morning... to the B terminal at dia. was a little inebriated, which with the benadryl helped me sleep going to LAX. plane to maui was long, but as we all know the ability to zone out can be quite useful in any number of situations!

nothing here has doors. its very odd to me. doors are only for security. any public place is wide open. most roofs even have a wide open gap before you get to a wall! its like you are always outside. they sell good beer and wine here in the grocer. we bought a local brew porter from safeway on a sunday. everything here is copasetic

did rental car and hotel. checked out where the local liquor grocer coffee shops and so on are located. checked out the whales and did some beach hopping. there was this sexy local girl lauren who gave us some tips on enjoying maui (not that enjoying maui would be hard, even if we tried not to!). watched the sunset and ended up taking the long route on the island, and had 15 miles or so of single lane switchbacks with volcanic flow at night. fun stuff.

the women here are bikini clad and toned. the sunsets here reflect off to the ocean. clouds always stay over the rainforest on the mountains and volcanoes. i love maui. andy loves maui too.

time for some birthday fun, I turned 22 this morning!
