The short answer as to why Xanippi was zotted is that she requested it.

Going back and finding this thread would be too much work for a lazy person like me. But if you go to the Hook-Up Board, there is a thread titled "Why?", and it contains a lot of Xanippi posts leading up to her begging to be zotted.
