I saw "Let the Right One In" for the last showing of the wonderful Parkway Speakeasy Theater before they closed (hopefully not forever) and I love the movie. Good choice! Since you asked about how to avoid sensitivity, I don't know what to do myself most of the time, but I find sometimes watching movies and seeing my favorite tough characters gives me something to think about as far as reminding myself why sensitivity is not necessary. Sensitivity is just the other side of pride, and you have to find what you are proud of and realize other people want to see the best side of you. (I mean, I know I certainly do...but I don't just mean me...) It helps to realize that no one really takes all that much joy in looking for faults in others unless they are just really screwed up in the head themselves. Therefore, when you reveal something about yourself imperfectly people tend to try to fill in the details flatteringly if they can. Beautiful things just make more sense to people, so they will see your beauty more easily than any supposed faults (as if you had any). So there, hopefully that might help next time you are feeling sensitive! It is something I have thought a lot about myself because I am a musician with stage fright and so I am always having to remind myself that people want a to see the good. They will work with you! Good luck, bud!
