let me pose a question to you boys out there...
do you think a fierce, intense emotional relationship, admittedly with physical longings that will never be carried out can be as rewarding without fulfilling the longing of physical connection?...can you maintain a friendship with someone you want sexually?
i got in this long discussion with an old flame the other night who was trying to explain to me that he see's me and it kills him since i'm with someone else and it bothers him to be around me because he has to be physical with me and there's just no other way.
puuuuuuuuuuuuhlease. i adore this guy and had not seen him for years and it was so fun hangin out and he tells me all this today.
blah. never mind. i'm rambling. its a long ass story.

lessee... as per your questions i would have to say that for dudes, this type of relationship might be tough. not to say that it isn't possible, just that the possibility is not going to be the norm. i think that we can maintain this type of relationship, we usually just don't want to. example... ever have one of those buddies (male) who just disappears? guess what happened: they started getting laid. this happens even with casual (non-sexually desireous) friendships. trust me. this is just one of the many many ways that guys kinda suck. but we can fix the lights, so go figure.
