Okay, I'm updating. I haven't updated lately because I've been SAD.
Apart from the obvious, unmentionable event that has made me give up all sources of news for the last few days because I can't stand to hear a certain person talking about his "mandate" from the American people (since when is 51% a mandate?).........no, who am I kidding, there is no "apart from this." I am depressed. So should the nation be.
And I dragged myself around the snootiest, most Republican city in the greater area looking for wayward Democrats. At least I don't have to be ashamed of my state. I feel somewhat redeemed after all this time under the "gubernator".

Neither candidate was ideal in my mind, but I voted for Kerry for reasons explained in Tuesday's journal.
Well, at least it's only 4 years.
