Tonight I'm going to a costume party! Hoorah! I've been really busy, so I seriously wimped out on the costume and just dug this wondrous flower-child sort of dress out of my closet (it's from the seventies and ruffled like crazy), made a flower wreath for my head, and topped it off with a bunch of beaded necklaces and sandals.

Did an audition tape today for people who hopefully want to give me a giant scholarship. (That is, me out of every other person in the country who applies.) It's pretty good, though. Good for my ego. Used monologues from Lorca's Yerma and As You Like It (Phoebe). Realized halfway through the taping that my skirt was in my ass and had to dislodge it subtly, so that I could turn around without making a spectacle of myself. This is what comes of wearing a thong. Now I feel foolish.
