Lordy lordy, what a weekend.
Missed out on all the Halloween debauchery thanks to a bout of allergies turned nasty. When you've got a throbbing sinus headache and no voice, parties lose their appeal. I was so sad last night, having spent over a month putting together a Tank Girl costume. Guess I'll have to shelve it (maybe for a future photoset?)
Today made up for it quite a bit, though. We went out to an abandoned lock along a local river and had a grand ole time. It was a wee bit chilly, especially once I was stripped all down, but was worth it in the end. Went pretty well for a first set (and my first time modelling, eep) and it's at least good enough to submit to Member Review. I don't imagine it'll get me pink, but worth a shot nonetheless.
Considering all the trouble we went to this weekend just to make it happen, I damn well better submit it! Meant to shoot Saturday, but my dear photographer boyfriend forgot his camera's card, which he didn't realize til we reached location. Argh. Then, as we drove out today...we gently rear-ended a poor old man from Texas! Finally got out and got down to business, he's snapping away and I'm naked as a jaybird. All is well. Look up to see a rather startled gent. I squealed, he stammered out...something and fled. After much flustered giggling, we finished up. Hope he appreciated the view.
Should be uploading the set tonight, I'll be on tenterhooks until it gets accepted - or rejected!
