ok as promised here is a new more up-beat journal. yesterday (friday) i got my new pool cue. it is a Burton Spain cue. it is approx 25 to 30 years old. it is in fantastic condition. i paid $1400.00, and it is worth evey penny. i wouldn't sell it for less then $2500.00. anyway here are some pictures of it taken by the guy that i bought the cue off of.








in October the cue is going to cue maker Joel Herceck to have two new shafts made for it. Joel was the student of Burton Spain before Burton died. more importantly Joel knows this cue, and the original owner that Burton made it for. it plays fantastic. it is a heavy hit, but a solid hit. the cue only weighs 19.2 oz.


i was supposed to go shooting last night with someone, but that fell through, but i think we are going shooting on monday instead.
right now i'm sitting here in my office at work making some $$$ on OT. then later today it is off to the poolhalls to play with the new cue.


here is a picture of one of my projects that i found. this is the Manhattan Bridge in New York City. the concrte pannels are what i inspected. they are pedestrian walkway, and bikeway pannels that were added to the bridge. the new pannels can also support Emerency Traffic Vehicals should there be an accident on the bridge, and police, fire, or ambulance vehichals can't get to the scene on the regular roadway.
