strange, but not a stranger

was at a burial service for an old friend this very cold morning. he was quite old, but a real gentleman. the type the occur very seldom these days. have another friend a lot younger who is expected to live another couple of months.

talked to a friend of the deceased this morning. he related a story about he and his wife shopping for grave sights. the first on she didn't like because the view didn't appeal to her, the second was too shady and the third might be too wet. they got in a major fight picking out where they were going to be buried someday. a prime example of why men and women are not made for each other. he figures that none of that matters for they will be dead. men just shut their ears and go along after awhile. the other prospect is to fight all the time over the minutest things.
