So, since I haven't yet, here's the official B&D ball update (sans pictures however, as I haven't had the chance to steal them from other people yet...)
So yeah, the hotness. There was no shortage of pretty on the evening in question. Though there were fewer ridiculously over the top outfits than last year (where were you, bondage minotaur?), the general quality of the outfits being worn was higher and the ratio of sexy to disturbingly salacious and clearly deluded was much better. Not only did a number of fine young SGers attend (such as Sid, Fetish, Aegiswings, Gasmaskboy, Frost, katie1,PopeTom, and, of course, Gumbercules spinning in the cage, as well as others), but a few other friends and associates stopped in from a few other states.
The [:a:] performance was awesome (despite a little bobble on my part...
), and I've gotten much positive feedback on it. All I can say about future performances is stay tuned, as we defietely have stuff in the works for later on this summer... 
Oh, and while you're thinking about our performance, you should head on over to Provocateur's website if you want to download a version of "Boys Gotta Do...", the first song that we danced to. (and the band whose t-shirt I took off and threw into the crowd [that's right, oh silly people who missed the show, I was taking off clothes (as the pants weren't far behind) and throwing them around]).
the outfit I designed for the ball went over very well. As several people in varying degrees of sobriety insisted, I was the belle of the ball. All I can say is Ashley rocks for making it for me. I won't try to describe it here, now, but look for pictures as soon as I can swipe them from someone (by whom I mean Gumbercules).
Oh, and if I can get them from Zev, I'll probably post a few of the shots from my photoshoot last Sunday sometime soon.

Zev...Is that the same Zev that is the lighting director at ManRay, or is there more than one? Rumor is that he has had a mad crush on my roommate Marg for the past few weeks. At least that is what a woman named Bianca told me. I've never actually met him, but I feel sorry for the poor guy.
