So Bloodfeast fucking ruled.
Although we weren't quite as packed as we had hoped, the evening was a definite success. The space, the Jorges Hernandez Community Center on 85 W. Newton St. in the south side, was absolutely awesome. Good acoustics, plenty of room, cool interior design, and some surprisingly huge and high quality speakers were all excellent appendages to our little evening out.
Most of the Angledustrial crew was out around 2 to start getting things set up (by that I mean building almost all of our stage accessories...we had a lot. We don't joke around.) Sometime around 7:30 we were able to break and chill for a wee bit before doors opened at 8. Yay chinese food from Yum-mee kitchen.
So we danced, then we got all zombified, then we performed to much applause and public approval (even though the sound guy somehow managed to screw up our performance music...
)
There will be many pictures soon. Right now I am exhaused, but happily so, and I have to be at work in a few hours.
