I knew it.
The birthday curse lives. It just couldn't kick in on Sunday because the rental office wasn't open. So yesterday, about 23:54 after the 24th anniversary of my birth, I found out that we got turned down for the aparment. Since then I've already looked at 4 new places, tried renting one, and found out that it was being finalized for someone else as I was looking at it. Checking out more tomorrow.
*sigh*
All I can say is, when we finally have a housewarming, I am going to drink.
