So much love...

So far today has managed to avoid the trend of most of my birthdays, which are often made of suck. (Of course you lot are no small part of the reason for that.)

This seems as good a time as any to look back on the past year.

Man, BU blows. Trying to get an apartment sucks.
Boston, especially the people, however, rocks my parcel (thank you MistressMissy for that little phrase.) Since moving out here I have gone out more often, met more cool people, and started up more new friendships than any other time of my life. Many friends and friends of friends have come into my life, which is always a cause for celebration, (which will be taking place very soon, once I'm in the new apt and have room for a proper shindig- Keep checking here for info) and a good portion of them have been met through the site. You guys all kick ass, and I want to thank you for it.

My hand is doing much better, so I should be back in regular comment mode soon.

Wanting, and needful
Cat-quick hauteur ephemera
collects at edges of the smile.
An indecisive potential that rarely entices,
yet oft-inspires.

A dandy courtesan,
expensive tastes,
and untried means.

Perfectionist inadequacies
to hide behind the back-

So,
look at my eyes,
as they are blue,
and pretty.
