Well, my hand is finally feeling up to being useful again, so here goes:
FUCK.
In talking with my realtor today he told me that, after receiving all our paperwork, getting it all checked out and ok'ed, etc, he went to the landlord, who told him that he was going to rent that place to some of his friends, and not to us. Once more, just to be clear: FUCK.
So, I had to go file a lease extension with BU, and am paying $350 for an extra two weeks (lucky me), but at least that give me the chance to look for yet another new place to live. Whoopee.
I've had a bad day, and I'm feeling antisocial, and my hand is starting to hurt, so I'm going to go back to be misanthropic for the night. Sorry for the ongoing lack of comments...I'm just a bad person, I suppose.
Oh, the surgery went well, and recovery is going smoothly. I'll no doubt be my garrulous self again soon. For right now though...Fuck.
