Dorain's name now appears in gray. Just before she left, however, she left a rather eloquent and thoughtful open letter in the Site section of the boards. She expressed many of the reservations that I myself have felt on and off for the past few months. (aside from the creepy/harassing journal comments, as I know all of you well enough not to be worried too much) The thread has provoked quite a bit of serious, thoughtful discussion. I'm hopeful enough that I may even bother going back out into the boards now and again.
In an offhanded way, however, the post did make me realize that I have been lucky in the group of people I've met. I just want to take a moment and express my appreciation to all of you for being engaging, entertaining, and notably worthwhile people. I'll see you soon.
