quiescence

I had a good time at Ceremony last night. The music was well above average in terms of quality (and it's usually a rather well-spun night), a nice crowd of well-dressed people, and I got to see all my friends that I've been away from for the past few weeks. Unfortnately, my ever-worsening illness prompted me to leave early and collapse into fitful sleep.
I've met with all of my classes this semester and it looks to be a good setup. The professors are all very friendly and laid back, the syllabi hold no terrors, and I'm interested in the coursework. Between that rather pleasant start and my very successful finish from last semester I'm ready to get back into everything. Just five more months until my MA is finished. Now if I could just hear back from the PhD programs I applied to...
