quiescence

Once more sweet sweet music can be heard playing joyously from the speakers in my car as I drive over hill and dale. (Ok, so just dale, this is Ohio.)
I finally got a new cd player installed in my car today. I cannot express how happy this makes me, especially given my impending 9 hour drives to and from Canada...
I unfortunately forgot to take my cd case with me when I drove to work today, so I had no cd to pop in once the work was done. I realized this before the installation was finished and, while waiting at a nearby mall, I rectified the situation.
What cd was first to slide into the virginal slot of my new player, you may ask? A familiar band, one from my profile perhaps?

I know that they're a largely manufactured group. I know that they're a bit goofy. I know that they're incredibly fake lesbians (almost comically so). But the cd is so damn catchy and energetic and great for driving! Aqua has much the same place in my heart. "Great", but in that way that makes me feel kinda dirty when I listen to bands like Portishead or Hungry Lucy

Dude...Tatu should become SGs.
